How do I get Portable WiFi?
You can reserve your Portable WiFi from the beginning of this same page, at the top. Start by entering the dates and our website will guide you step by step. You only need a credit or debit card
Where can I receive my Portable WiFi?
Delivery can be made to any address in Peninsular Spain or the Balearic Islands, such as a hotel, an office, a house. It is necessary for a person to receive the device, it is not possible to leave it in a mailbox.
What do I have to do to return the Portable WiFi?
With the device, we send it in a pre-paid envelope, ready to be sent back to us. Just put the device in the envelope, seal it and leave it in a mailbox or post office.
In Spain there are mailboxes distributed along the streets. There are also in some airports (eg Madrid and Barcelona). Also, if you are staying in a hotel, you can ask at reception if they can take care of the shipment (in this case, confirm later with them that they have indeed sent it).
In case of loss of the envelope, you can make the return using the courier service of your choice, paying the expenses yourself.
What can I do if there is a problem with the Portable WiFi?
We strive to offer a quality service and therefore it is very unlikely that there is a problem with the device. However, if there is any type of incident or problem with the device, you must notify us as soon as possible to send you another one, or In case it is not possible, proceed to return the money.
Coverage in Spain
Our 4G Wi-Fi device connects to the telephone operator with the best 3G and 4G network in Spain. In addition, the antenna of our 4G Wi-Fi devices is more powerful than those of most Smartphones, so it obtains coverage where many mobile phones do not you get it.
Even so, if you contract PortableWifiSpain and when you start using it you discover that you do not have coverage, you can try moving it closer to the different windows of the house. If that does not work, contact us within the first 24 hours and we will give you instructions to return the Wi-Fi device 4G and return your money.
Speed and Limits
We have state-of-the-art 4G Wi-Fi devices that connect to the 4G network, with speeds that can reach the fiber level.
In places with good 4G coverage we have tested our 4G Wi-Fi devices obtaining real speeds of up to 40 Mbps download and 10 Mbps upload (very fast!) although in theory the 4G network allows speeds of up to 150 Mbps download and upload.
When the 4G network does not reach, at 3G/HSDPA speed we obtain real speeds of up to 19 Mbps download and 4 Mbps. This corresponds to speeds higher than most Spanish ADSL connections.
All these speeds are while the contracted data lasts - after consuming that data, the speed is very, very slow: you can send WhatsApp and emails but little else.
How much is 10Gb? Is it a lot or a little?
In the following link you can see a sample of what you can do with 10G
10Gb is a lot of data to browse the internet, see emails, write Whatsapps, read the news, social networks, and watch some videos
However, they can be consumed quickly if you use Netflix or the like to download entire movies, watch several hours of high-quality video... or if you have teenagers using it (we don't know how, but they consume a lot of data)
Along with the 4G Wi-Fi device, we will provide you with a charger so that you can charge the battery of the 4G Wi-Fi device just like you do with your mobile.
During the day, you can keep your 4G Wi-Fi device on all the time, but if you want to make sure you don't run out of battery, it's best to turn it off when you're not using it.
